A story done for Manchester High School's weekly news program, The Pulse recapping a talent show / beauty pageant at our school. It won a special acheivement award at the New England Scholastic Press Association (NESPA) conference.

Sample 2: Kyle Smith Athelete Highlight
This story was done for my sports broadcasting class and highlighted an incredible runner at our school. In order to create this story I worked a lot with Chroma Keying and green screen as well as photoshop to create original graphics.
PROJECTS: GRADE 10
As a sophomore at Manchester High School, I began to expand my interest in video production by taking both Broadcast Journalism and Sports Broadcasting. In Broadcast Journalism, I learned about the production of a news program and made several news stories, while Sports Broadcasting gave me experience with graphics and reporting sports. Below are a few examples of what I feel is my best work from my Sophomore year.
Sample 3: Manchester Road Race Feature Story
For this story I had the opportunity to cover the Manchester Road Race for our monthly program, "Machester Monthly". It is a beloved tradition in our town and this story was one of my favorites. In order to record enough B Roll I ran the entire race carrying a GoPro video camera and we captured a lot of unique shots shown in this story.
Smaple 4: Journal Inquire Invitational Recap
The track team is one of Manchester's finest and I was happy to cover one of the most competitive meets of the season. This story included a lot of original graphics in photoshop and is a good example of how a whole day of filming is needed for one short story.
Sample 6: Mr. Parker Teacher Spotlight (8:05)
This story was not individually uploaded but I still felt as though it was one of my best stories in terms of video and script writing. It appears 8 minutes and 5 seconds into this episode of The Pulse (Manchester's weekly news program)
Sample 8: Townwide Science Fair Story
This story was also not individually uploaded but appears as the first story on this episode of The Pulse. For this story we covered a townwide science fair unique to Manchester.
Sample 7: Tennis Match Recap
This story higlighted one of our tennis teams most impressive wins. It was originaly for MHS Sports but also apeared in The Pulse. To make this story I had to create a lot of graphics in photshop.
Sample 5: Redstorm Behind the Scenes (20:30)
Redstorm is an anual lipdub done to show MHS school spirit. This year, in addition to helping with Redstorm, my team made a behind the scenes story about Redstorm. This can be found 20 minutes and 30 seconds into this special edition of The Pulse, with the actual lipdub right after it.
